U-Nik Extensions has been around for over 20 years and has established a burgeoning clientele by providing high-quality services at competitive prices within the Inland Empire.

Throughout the years U-Nik Extensions has competed in hair battle competitions proving itself a top name in the industry from Los Angeles and throughout the Inland Empire. In 2012 placing 3rd in Trends Hair Style Magazine Competition, 2014 placing 1st at the Salon Source Beauty Expo, placing 2nd in the Eve Hair Battle, and in 2016 placing 1st in the Battle of Los Angeles vs Inland Empire Hair Competition.

Joyce of U-Nik Extensions has had her work published in multiple highly rated hair magazines such as: Hair Trendz Magazine in December 2012, International Hair Publication Black Passion Salon Magazine Vol 47 in 2014, and in Sophisticated Black Hair Magazine in November of 2013, June of 2014, February of 2015, and May of 2016.


Her Story

Joyce Hayes is a top rated licensed cosmetologist with over 20 years of experience in natural hair care, weaves/ extensions, press and curls, braids and much more.

Joyce was born in New Jersey but came to California in late 70's where she later established herself in the hair industry in the early 1990's taking courses and training at Riverside Community College Cosmetology program. She later founded U-Nik Extensions where she made a name for herself in Corona, CA by priding herself on "making damaged hair look good." 

 
 

She has won recognition in Los Angeles and in the Inland Empire by proving her high-level craftsmanship and creativity in many elite hair battles and competitions taking home 1st place many times. U-Nik Extensions founder has even had her work published over the years in many popular hair magazines like Black Hair Care. 

Joyce has maintained a high level of professional talent and services in her work over the years and continues to go above and beyond to ensure every client is treated respectfully and walks away looking and feeling their best. To this day Joyce has continued to uphold her motto of " making damaged hair look good"  and continues to provide and expanding the amount of quality hair services within the Inland Empire.
